Primal Steakhouse
About This Spot
Walking into Primal Steakhouse, you’re immediately embraced by a rich, inviting world where the glow of dimmed lighting casts soft shadows on medieval-inspired décor. The atmosphere quietly hums with a refined energy, striking a balance between a romantic hideaway and a gathering place for convivial moments. It’s a setting that feels thoughtfully designed — where every nook, from intimate corners to larger rooms, serves as a backdrop for both whispered conversations and hearty laughter.
The pace here unfolds leisurely, encouraging diners to savor more than just the meal. The space is alive with subtle strains of live music that mingle effortlessly with the occasional clink of glasses and warm exchanges among servers and guests. It’s the kind of place where the lighting and soundscape come together to create an inviting sanctuary away from the buzz of the Strip, yet still celebratory and vibrant.
At the heart of Primal’s experience is its menu, which artfully blends elevated American steakhouse tradition with a hint of adventurous flair. The steaks themselves speak for the expertise here — whether it’s a towering tomahawk or a perfectly seared filet, each cut arrives commanding attention without overwhelming the senses. Pairing these with thoughtfully crafted accompaniments, like delicately buttered asparagus or layered seafood dishes, rounds out an experience that feels both hearty and nuanced.
There’s also a spirit of careful hospitality woven throughout the evening. The servers move with a genuine warmth and attentiveness that makes you feel less like a patron and more like a welcome guest. Whether it’s a quiet celebration or a special night out, there’s an unmistakable sense that the team is tuned in to the human moments — the smiles, the quiet toasts, and the shared discoveries on the plate.
Primal Steakhouse manages to offer more than just a meal; it’s a space where the drama of the décor meets the comfort of excellent food and considerate service. The result is an experience that’s both memorable and approachable, perfectly suited for those who appreciate the art of dining with a touch of old-world charm and modern sensibility.

First of all, this was the best steakhouse I’ve gone to in YEARS. The lighting wasn’t too light, I’m very thankful for that since my eyes are very sensitive to bright lights. The food was amazing, our server was spectacular. I wish I remembered his name but he was such a sweetheart. I loved the medieval theme. It was a very special experience and hopefully will visit Vegas again to come here.

Amazing atmosphere, is a Game of Thrones theme which is very unique. There was live music, and the lights were dimmed, making it a really romantic place to go for date night. They have a few different rooms that can accomodate families, couples, and even business dinners. The dishes are very well composed and portions are generous. The prices are appropriate to the quality and quantity. The service was good, and the managers are constantly running the floors to ensure the guest are having a great experience. Is located 7 minutes from the sphere, off the strip, first impression of the location is not the best but is absolutely worth it.

I thought the ambiance was cool. We were seated a a small table near the bathroom, right next to the bar and it had extremely poor lighting, table was very small, what made it worse was that it was next to the bar so I had constant traffic next to our table, our server had to move to the side every time someone was walking to the bathroom. Luckily they had an open table towards the back and it was MUCH better, table was larger, brighter lighting it was great so thank you! As for the food: Appetizers were definitely disappointing. The server said the scallops were on the larger side, they were definitely not. And flavor was very bland. Same for the shrimp scampi, no flavor unfortunately. At this point we were pretty scared, worried to be honest. Until the entree…. The entree was unbelievably delicious!!! We got the 50 oz. Tomahawk, yummy! Mac and cheese was some of the best I’ve had! And the lobster tails were delicious also! I would return, but skip the appetizers, with the generous side portions and steak, the appetizers really are not needed anyways. We did have drinks, two appetizers, multiple sides, bill was over $500 for two people. So very pricey, we thought maybe some complimentary bread would be fitting considering their pricing…a steakhouse without bread?!?! Overall good experience.

This is a must try Steakhouse if you’re visiting Las Vegas and want a high end steakhouse Restaurant with a unique experience. Visiting from NYC and going to all the best steakhouses in Manhatten Primal is absolutely on par with all of them. All of our dishes which included the French onion soup, Bone marrow, Porterhouse steaks and sides were all made with the best ingredients and cooked to perfection. Prices were very reasonable considering the quality and sizes of the dishes. The ambience was amazingly done and unlike anything I’ve experienced in a steakhouse, all done by design which included a Professional violinist who played modern music. Service was friendly and prompt, Thank you to Andrew and everyone else involved who helped us that night. Looking forward to coming back to this restaurant. Will definitely return and recommend. From the Davis family to the Primal family thank you for an amazing Steakhouse experience.

I truly cannot say enough good things about our experience here. Every staff member was so incredibly kind, and since we were celebrating a wedding and birthday the manager and owner came by with champagne, special deserts, and comped our drinks and desserts. Our waiter, Derrick, was exceptional and made the night even more special than the milestones that we were celebrating. An experience we will never forget!

We first heard about Primal Steakhouse from a fellow passenger on a plane, who raved about it. We decided it would be the perfect spot for a special occasion and wow, were we in for a treat! The atmosphere is absolutely top-notch: cozy, warm, with low lighting that creates an inviting and intimate vibe. We arrived 30 minutes early and enjoyed a few drinks at the bar. The bartenders were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive... service was spot-on. While we were at the bar, live music started up; a talented one-man band playing violin, performing a mix of Christmas classics and timeless favorites. It added such a magical touch to the evening. Right on time for our reservation, a staff member politely came over to let us know our table was ready whenever we were. We finished our drinks and ordered a few more for the table then headed over. The menus, beautifully crafted with wooden backs, featured an extensive and tempting selection. Our server, Michael, was an absolute standout... he hit it out of the park! Fun, lively, and genuinely engaging, he elevated the entire experience with his energy and personality. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish burst with incredible flavor. We shared the Delmonico steak (after ordering plenty of appetizers and sides) along with all the sauces, and it was magnificently presented and perfectly cooked. From start to finish, we were blown away by the exceptional service, warm and friendly staff, and unforgettable atmosphere. It truly felt like we'd been transported to another world. We'll definitely be back to Primal Steakhouse; count on it!

Come for the atmosphere and the novelty of midevil decore, themed drinks and big pieces of manly meat. Unfortunately we went all in with the tomahawk, but when it came out, it was a giant piece of fat with little to no meat. The meat we did manage to cut off was though. It was enough where even the manager and waiter agreed it was a bad cut and decided to remake the steak for us. We just asked for a filet minon instead. That steak was much better, perfectly cooked and had flavor, but not enough to be memorable. Service is top notch. We met both managers and waiters were all nice. Food was ok. Photos before and after dinner were fun. Oddly they had a live musician that was singing covers of 90s music that night.
